What is CBD?
CBD comes from the Cannabis sativa plant, which is also used to produce hemp and marijuana. It’s extracted from the resin of cannabis buds and flowers and usually diluted with another oil, like MCT.
The major difference between CBD and marijuana is that it does not contain THC, the psychoactive compound that probably comes to mind when you think of marijuana. That means you won’t get high from using CBD.
How does CBD affect the body?
Marijuana and CBD work by acting on the body’s endocannabinoid system. This system’s main job is to maintain homeostasis and help the body adapt to outside stressors.
There are two main types of cannabinoids—endo (produced naturally within the body) and phyto (produced from a plant). CBD is one type of phytocannabinoid. Phytocannabinoids mimic endocannabinoids, so they can act like a supplement, giving you a boost beyond what your body can produce.
Receptors for cannabinoids are found in the digestive, reproductive, nervous, and immune systems. Because cannabinoids interact with almost every system in our bodies, they’re often touted as a cure-all. While they’re not truly able to heal everything, they do regulate neurotransmitter function, inflammation, mitochondrial function, and metabolism.
Improves mood disorders.
CBD works directly on the brain receptors 5HT1A (serotonin) and GABA (an inhibitory neurotransmitter). Lower levels of these can contribute to anxiety and depression.
Suppresses cytokine production and induces T-regulatory cells to protect the body from attacking itself, which can help autoimmune conditions.
Decreases chronic pain.
Inhibits transmission of neuronal signalling through pain pathways.
Aids gut health.
Helps heal the leaky tight junctions that contribute to intestinal permeability and decreases spasmodic activity common in irritable bowel syndrome.
Feel more energized, lower cortisol levels, and balance your hormones...
While there are many emerging studies showing signs of CBD’s health benefits, research is limited on its long-term effects. If you try a CBD oil and start to see unpleasant side effects, stop taking it and see your doctor immediately. At the end of the day, CBD oil is a supplement and should be used as part of an overall healthy lifestyle.
Everything happens for a reason and we never meet anyone by mere coincidence. We must always remember this.
No matter what you are going through it has meaning and it will push you to where you need to be. Synchronicities for those who do not know are essentially ‘meaningful coincidences.’ They are people coming into our lives to show us things and even having things happen that begin a chain reaction. Synchronistic connections come in many forms.
Everyone who comes into our lives has something to teach us. We all learn from one another on some level whether you notice it or not. Some people come into our lives to tear us apart and others are merely here to grow with us. Below you will find the 6 most common kinds of people you will come in contact with in life. These are all synchronistic connections.
1. Those who come to remind you
These people come into our lives to remind us of something important. They evoke knowledge from within us and help us to understand it. These people can and will remain marked on your soul for eternity whether they are permanently a part of your life or not.
2. Those who make you grow
These people are the teachers of our souls. They come into our lives to help us become better versions of ourselves. They are there for us in our time of need and because of them, we are able to better understand who we are and who we are meant to be.
3. Those who are here to stay
These are the people who remain a part of our life forever. They are your support system and they come in when you need them most. You will have far too many to count experiences with these people and your bond will be far stronger than anything you could have ever imagined.
4. Those who come to awaken you
These people come into our lives to shake our reality. They are often those who we wish we had never met but learned a lot from. Not everyone you encounter is positive. Negativity is important when it comes to growing as well. The Universe knows what you can and cannot handle far better than you do.
5. Those who hold space for you
These are the people who come into our lives for a mere moment. They are people who pass you by and yet still are able to make you feel less alone in the world. You may only share a few words with them or even just a glance. These people make an impact when you need one the most.
6. Those who are meant to leave
These people were never going to be there for long. They are sent to you so that you can learn from them and as I mentioned above not every learning experience has to be a positive one. These are the people who come into your life and make you fall in love only to break your hear wide open!

We are Source Coded to Thrive, and our Dream Seeds are growing into a Garden of Illuminated Hearts.
Once upon a time,
Once upon a time, the tribe of humanity embarked upon a long journey called Separation. It was not a blunder as some - seeing its ravages upon the planet - might think. Nor was it a fall, nor an expression of some innate evil peculiar to the human species. It was a journey with a purpose: to experience the extremes of Separation, to develop the gifts that come in response to it, and to integrate all of that in a new age of Reunion.
But we knew at the outset that there was danger in this journey: that we might become lost in Separation and never come back. We might become so alienated from nature that we would destroy the very basis of life; we might become so separated from each other that our poor egos, left naked and terrified, would become incapable of rejoining the community of all being. In other words, we foresaw the crisis we face today.
That is why, thousands of years ago, we planted three seeds that would sprout at the time that our journey of Separation reached its extreme. Three seeds, three transmissions from the past to the future, three ways of preserving and transmitting the truth of the world, the self, and how to be human.
Imagine you were alive thirty thousand years ago, and had a vision of all that was to come: symbolic language, naming and labeling the world; agriculture, the domestication of the wild, dominion over other species and the land; the Machine, the mastery of natural forces; the forgetting of how beautiful and perfect the world is; the atomization of society; a world where humans fear even to drink of the streams and rivers, where we live among strangers and don't know the people next door, where we kill across the planet with the touch of a button, where the seas turn black and the air burns our lungs, where we are so broken that we dare not remember that it isn't supposed to be this way.
Imagine you saw it all coming. How would you help people thirty thousand years thence? How would you send information, knowledge, aid over such a vast gulf of time? You see, this actually happened. That is how we came up with the three seeds.
The first seed was the wisdom lineages: lines of transmission going back thousands of years that have preserved and protected essential knowledge. From adept to disciple, in every part of the world, various wisdom traditions have passed down teachings in secret. Wisdom keepers, Sufis, Taoist wizards, Zen masters, mystics, gurus, and many others, hiding within each religion, kept the knowledge safe until the time when the world would be ready to reclaim it. That time is now, and they have done their job well.
The time of secrets is over. Released too early, the knowledge was co-opted, abused, or usually just ignored. When we still had not covered the territory of Separation, when we still aspired to widening our conquest of nature, when the story of humanity's Ascent was not yet complete, we weren't ready to hear about union, connectedness, interdependency, inter-being-ness. We thought the answer was more control, more technology, more logic, a better-engineered society of rational ethics, more control over matter, nature, and human nature. But now the old paradigms are failing, and human consciousness has reached a degree of receptivity that allows this seed to spread across the earth. It has been released, and it is growing inside of us en masse.
The second seed was the sacred stories: myths, legends, fairy tales, folklore, and the perennial themes that keep reappearing in various guises throughout history. They have always been with us, so that however far we have wandered into the Labyrinth of Separation, we have always had a lifeline, however tenuous and tangled, to the truth. The stories nurture that tiny spark of memory within us that knows our origin and our destination. The ancients, knowing that the truth would be co-opted and distorted if left in explicit form, encoded it into stories.
When we hear or read one of these stories, even if we cannot decode the symbolism, we are affected on an unconscious level. Myths and fairy tales represent a very sophisticated psychic technology. Each generation of storytellers, without consciously intending to, transmits the covert wisdom that it learned, unconsciously, from the stories told it.
Without directly contradicting the paradigms of separation and ascent, our myths and stories have smuggled in a very different understanding of reality. Under the cover of, "It's just a story," they convey emotional, poetic, and spiritual truth that contradicts linear logic, reductionism, determinism, and objectivity. I am not talking here about moralistic stories. Most of those carry little truth. To transmit the second seed, we must humble ourselves to our stories, and not try to use them for our own moralistic ends. They were created by beings far wiser than our modern selves.
If you tell or transmit stories, be very respectful of their original form and don't change them unless you feel a poetic upwelling. Pay attention to which children's literature has the feel of a true story. Most recent kids' literature does not. You can recognize a true story by the way its images linger in your mind. It imprints itself on the psyche. You get the feeling that something else has been transmitted alongside the plot, something invisible. Usually, such stories bear rich symbolism often unknown even to their authors. A comparison of two 20th-century children's books illustrates my point: compare a Berenstain Bears story with How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Only the latter has a psychic staying power, revealing the spirit of a true story, and it is rich with archetypal symbolism.
The third seed was the indigenous tribes, the people who at some stage opted out of the journey of separation. Imagine that at the outset of the journey, the Council of Humanity gathered and certain members volunteered to retreat to remote locations and forgo separation, which meant refusing to enter into an adversarial, controlling relationship to nature, and therefore refusing the process that leads to the development of high technology. It also meant that when they were discovered by the humans who had gone deeply into Separation, they would meet with the most atrocious suffering. That was unavoidable.
These people of the third seed have nearly completed their mission today. Their mission was simply to survive long enough to provide living examples of how to be human. Each tribe carried a different piece, sometimes many pieces, of this knowledge. Many of them show us how to see and relate to the land, animals, and plants. Others show us how to work with dreams and the unseen. Some have preserved natural ways of raising children, now spreading through such books as The Continuum Concept. Some show us how to communicate without words - tribes such as the Hazda and the Piraha communicate mostly in song. Some show us how to free ourselves from the mentality of linear time. All of them exemplify a way of being that we intuitively recognize and long for. They stir a memory in our hearts, and awaken our desire to return.
The Lakota Aloysius Weasel Bear once asked his grandfather, "Grandpa, the White Man is destroying everything, shouldn't we try to stop him?" His grandfather replied, "No, it isn't necessary. We will stand by. He will outsmart himself." The grandfather recognized two things in this reply: (1) That Separation carries the seeds of its own demise, and (2) That his people's role is to be themselves. But I don't think that this is an attitude of callousness that leaves the White Man to his just desserts; it is an attitude of compassion and helping that understands the tremendous importance of simply being who they are. They are keeping alive something that the planet and the community of all being needs.
By the same token, our culture's fascination with all things indigenous is not merely the latest form of cultural imperialism and exploitation. True, the final stage of cultural domination would be to turn Native ways into a brand, a marketing image. And certainly there are some in my culture who, sundered from community and from a real identity, adopt Native pseudo-identities and pride themselves on their connections to Native culture, spirituality, people, and so forth.
Underneath that, however, we recognize that the surviving First Peoples have something important to teach us. We are drawn to their gift, to the seed that they have preserved until the present time. To receive this seed, it is not necessary to participate in their rituals, take an animal name, or claim a Native ancestor, but only to humbly see what they have preserved, so that memory may awaken. Until recently, such seeing was impossible for us, blinkered by our cultural superiority complex, our arrogance, our apparent success in mastering the universe. Now that converging ecological and social crises reveal the bankruptcy of our ways, we have the eyes to see the ways of others.
The seeds of Reunion are sprouting everywhere. That which was hidden for millennia is coming to light. Soon, fertilized by the detritus of our decaying civilization, the sprouts will mature, bloom, and bear fruit. Our job is first to receive them, then to spread them everywhere and to guard and foster them with every ounce of our love.
May you be blessed!
What is Vibrational Frequency? Everything in the universe vibrates at a different frequency – the sun, plants, you, and even the chair or bed you’re sitting on. This frequency is measured in hertz (Hz). A healthy body frequency is 62 – 72 Mhz. Fresh foods are 20 – 27 or higher if grown organically and eaten freshly picked while dried foods are 15 – 22 and processed foods come in at a whopping 0 Hz.
Scientists have found that certain frequencies can prevent the development of illness in our bodies. There’s actually an instrument that can measure the electrical frequency of our cells, which has shown that bodies that are ill have a lower vibrational frequency. Not only is your body healthier at a higher vibrational frequency but your mental and emotional health increases as well. In addition, as your vibrational frequency rises, your spiritual growth and ability to feel that “woman’s intuition” is heightened. It is completely possible to have it all – health, wealth, happiness, and a connection to God (whatever that is for you and your personal beliefs) through high levels of vibration.
Keep in mind this isn’t a new concept. It’s been practiced successfully all over the world for thousands of years, but only recently found a place in western society when we discovered how to actually measure this phenomenon and utilize it to optimize health. The first step in raising your vibrational frequency is to remove things from your body and life that we know lower it. Things like refined sugars, processed foods, artificial sweeteners, coffee, toxins, chemicals, and preservatives are all known culprits. Extreme stress and negative feelings can have a negative impact on your level of vibration as well.
The good news is that raising your vibrational frequency is not that difficult. Here are 20 ways in which you can increase your vibrational frequency!
Alter Your Diet
Focus on consuming cleaning, high vibrational foods such as:
Reconnect with Nature
Try walking barefoot to reconnect with the energy in the earth.
Get Rid of Negative Energy
Write it down, scream, jump, or punch a pillow – find a way to discharge it!
Change Your Thoughts
Positive thoughts have a high vibrational frequency while negative thoughts have a low vibrational frequency. Make a choice to stay positive! Book a session to release unhealthy agreements, contracts, relationship issues, and energy patterns
Participate in Joyful Movement
Joyful movement stimulates the release of endorphins, which help to increase your vibrational frequency.
Do what Makes You Feel Good
Pick an activity that brings you joy, and do it on a regular basis. This can include snuggling, painting, or just simply being with someone special in your life.
Listen to Music
Music has an extremely high vibrational frequency and crosses all boundaries. Make sure you’re listening to something you enjoy!
Moving your body in a way that makes you feel good helps increase your vibrational frequency. Turn up some tunes and shake it!
Spend time with Animals
Animals have high vibrational frequencies, so when you reconnect with them, your frequency increases.
Essential oils start at 52 Hz and go as high as 320 Hz, which is the frequency of rose oil. Clinical research shows that therapeutically grade essential oils have the highest frequency of any natural substance known to man, creating an environment in which disease, bacteria, viruses, and fungi cannot live.
Laugh and Smile
Anything that brings you joy will help increase your vibrational frequency! Make a point to do something that makes you laugh (or at least smile) every day.
You can make neurobiological changes with a shift in your focus on gratitude. Start with the basics of being alive, having at least one friend, etc.
Meditation has been shown to increase your vibrational frequency while calming the mind so you’re in a heightened state of consciousness.
Stop Complaining and Gossiping
Are the things you’re talking about bringing you more of what you want or bringing you down a path that lowers your vibrational frequency instead?
Yoga means “union” and helps to connect the body and mind to raise your vibrational frequency.
Human contact has been shown to significantly raise vibrational frequency. It is also known to be healing and soothing.
Get a Massage
Again, human contact is a fast and effective way to increase that frequency. Plus, talk about getting rid of negative energy!
Bringing in this basic force of life and flooding the body with oxygen is a great way to increase your vibrational frequency. Focus on taking time to breathe deeply and slowly.
Whether it’s in the shower or a crowd of hundreds, singing is a great way to bring in new energy and increase your vibrational frequency.
Love is the single most powerful thing you can do to raise your vibrational frequency quickly and for long periods of time!
To Wrap it Up
Your vibrational frequency matters when it comes to your health and happiness, and ultimately, it’s up to you how high it is! At Oshun Spirit we understand the power of personalization and encourage you to do what works for you and your needs! Take measures into your own hands, and make a point to do a least a few items on this list every day.
When we find ourselves going through any kind of change in our lives, our natural response may be to tense up on the physical, mental, or emotional level. We may not even notice that we have braced ourselves against a shift until we recognize the anxiety, mood swings, or general worried feeling toward the unknown that usually results. There are positive ways to move through change without pushing it away, however, or attempting to deny that it is happening. Since change will occur in almost every aspect of our lives, we can learn to make our response to it an affirmative one of anticipation, welcoming the new while releasing the past with grace.
One thing we can do is change our perspective by changing the labels we use to identify our feelings. We can reinterpret feelings of anxiety as the anxious butterflies that come with eager expectation. With this shift, we begin to look for the good that is on its way to us. Though we may only be able to imagine the possibilities, when we acknowledge that good is there for us to find, we focus our energy on joyful anticipation and bring it into our experience while allowing the feelings to carry us forward.
We can also choose to do a ceremony to allow our emotions to process. Every culture has created ceremonies to help people make the transition from one phase of life to the next. We can always create a ceremony too, perhaps by burning written thoughts to watch the smoke carry them away, thereby releasing them, or we can welcome new endeavors by planting flowers or trees. Some ceremonial activities such as a farewell send-off or housewarming party, we may do automatically. Society also has built-in ceremonies, like graduation and weddings, which may satisfy the need we feel. Sometimes the shift from denial to acceptance is all that is needed to ease our anxiety, allowing us to bring our memories with us as we move through nervousness to joyful excitement about the good to come.
Since ancient times spiritual bathing has been a part of just about every spiritual tradition to cleanse away negativity, for new beginnings, and to attract blessings.
To take a spiritual bath start with a physically clean space and body. This means cleaning up you bathroom and taking your regular shower first. Next you need to energetically cleanse your space by burning Sage, Palo Santo, Copal or whichever cleansing herb or resin you have on hand but these are ideal.
Create an ambiance of sacredness with music and illuminate your space by lighting candles. Draw your bath, and soak with intention for 20 minutes or longer.
Focus on your overall goal, visualize, and relax. Rinse off afterwards if desired and dry off as you normally would. Know that all is well.

There is such liberation and joy in finding one’s own vibration and unleashing it fully in the world. Can you think of a time when you were in touch with and living true to you? A time when you were in your strength and power. What does it feel like? Strong, free, vibrant, playful, joyful, liberating, empowering… these are some of the words that come to mind. Yet for many of us, remaining in touch with our own vibe is a challenge. The world is full of distraction and it’s easy to be pulled out into something other than our own truth and beingness.
In our current world there are so many influences that try to make us like everyone else. Ingrained social conditioning places much emphasis on doing and success is often based on things such as material gain and power. From an early age we are given roles that may not necessarily be in our best interest. We are encouraged to behave well, study hard, find a good job and make lots of money and so forth… Society doesn’t place much value on being, expressing or creativity just for the sake of it. Our own unique expression and vibration is not widely respected.
However, the full expression of our selves is so inspiring, fulfilling and worthwhile. We don’t need others to tell us how to be or what to do, inside we have all our own answers. When we surrender and let go of any external demands, we can find true love and joy. Sometimes there is the temptation to look to the outer world to provide us with solutions and to be a source of our peace and happiness. We may find being true to our own vibe difficult because of insecurities or lack of self worth. We may act in a particular way or compromise our own vibe in order to fit in or feel loved by others. Yet ultimately ease, peace and acceptance needs to come from within. This quote from Mary O Malley’s book “What’s in the Way is the Way” speaks strongly “No love from outside of you will ever fully satisfy you, because the only way to relieve that longing is to know who you truly are.”
Of course, this does not mean we dismiss the outer world, it is also part of us, it can be a very valuable teacher and massive source of inspiration in our lives. What we see in the outer world is a reflection of our inner world, the external offers us a mirror so that we can see ourselves and feel our own vibe more clearly. Have you ever noticed that when we feel love for someone, we feel it inside of ourselves – the love is in us! As the Dalai Lama once said “The ultimate source of happiness is within us”
So what about the pain and suffering that we experience in the world and within us? It can be beneficial to remember that our soul wants to take us into the places where we get tight, so that we can release the tensions and blockages that restrict us. Working through these distortions paradoxically helps us to get to know ourselves better, to evolve and grow. By confronting and working through these difficult places we come back to our own vibe, stronger and more connected. There appears to be a delicate balance between working through our pain and discomfort and living from a place of joy and lightness.
A Unique Expression of The OneWe are each a unique expression within the Universe and finding our unique vibration is so vital. It’s easy to be swept along by others or identify with our emotions. We are not our emotions, we may feel sad, though we are not sadness. Particularly for empaths or sensitive people this can be challenging, as they tend to feel the energy and emotions of others within their own field. It can take some awareness and experience to recognize when we are identified with something other than ourselves. We can subtly (sometimes not so subtly) sense what another might want or need and align ourselves with another’s truth rather than our own. This can happen to such an extent that we are no longer aware of our own vibe.
Some of us have an unhealthy need to maintain harmony, even at the expense of our own truth. Others in order to gain a sense of belonging can mesh or combine their energies with that of a group to the extent that they lose connection with themselves. Awareness of this is a massive key, once we become aware of such patterns playing out in our lives, we have a choice. We can continue to compromise ourselves and blend with others or find new ways of connecting with our own vibration and living our truth. We can chose to find our own way in any moment, we each have a unique path as an expression of the Whole. As the great mystic poet Rumi said “It’s your road and yours alone, others may walk it with you, but no one can walk it for you.”
How to Find Your Own Vibration:Here are some suggestions for ways in which you can attune to your own vibration. Of course each of us is unique and some of these suggestions may resonate and others may not. It is important to explore what feels right for you.
